July 15, 1964 – Details of Harassment of Black Voting Registration in Mississippi

On this day in history, not really that long ago, the weekly newspaper of The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) published a not-terribly-unusual roundup of violent reactions to attempted voter registration by blacks in Mississippi.
